Our Practice


At Blackstone Valley Hearing Centers, we combine compassionate care, old-fashioned values, and modern technology to create a practice based on service, integrity, and quality. 

Dr. Finch is committed to helping people with hearing loss find the best solution based on their individual communication needs, lifestyle, and budget. The advanced technology available in today’s hearing aids combined with Dr. Finch’s expertise and personal care will get you hearing your best.
Our practice services the communities in the area of Cumberland, RI and Uxbridge, MA. Our office in Cumberland has been open for over 30 years and has recently relocated from Smithfield Avenue in Lincoln.

Our Uxbridge location opened in February of 2018 and we are are accepting appointments for new patients in both locations.

We contract with Medicare and most major insurance companies as well as many third party contractors.  Please contact us for more information.

Elizabeth A. Finch, Au.D.


Dr. Finch has helped those with hearing loss since 2002. She has worked in a busy Ear, Nose, and Throat clinic, an HMO clinic specializing in amplification, and for a major hearing aid manufacturer as a local sales representative and support audiologist. She has also served as adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Finch received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, her Master of Science (M.S.) from Arizona State University, and her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology, and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She is licensed as an audiologist in the states of RI and MA. Dr. Finch also served as a board member of the Massachusetts Speech Language and Hearing Association.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, and their 2 giant goldendoodles, gardening, photography, reading, baking. and volunteering as a leader with her childrens’ Cub Scout and Girl Scout troops.
